Thank you .. You have made a good list of medals and orders for Ottoman orders but some of the classifications of Orders have some mistakes .. Osmani orders have 4 classes while Mecidi 5 classes.. A şemse alone is not a class by itself . the two classes of both orders have shemse and nişan together making them first and second class. The first class shemse's are 90 + mm while second class shemse's are less than 90 mm .

What is the difference between Osmani and Mecidi orders? The time period?

They are both orders bestowed for Military and civilian accomplishments. Mecidi order is instututed in 1851 by Sultan Abdulmecid . and Osmani order in 1862 by Sultan Abdulaziz. Both were continued by the fallowing sultans . Both have detailed rules about their sizes and shapes how and where they should be weared kind of official documents they should be accompanied . They were given for life and returned after the death of the recipient.
