Trying to determine whether T. Stevens of Cockington was a stretcher bearer in South African Boer war. He was my wife’s great great grandfather. I don’t even know his first name. Trying to trace the family history. T Stevens also earned the SJAB medal. Does anyone have the complete roll of people presented this medal?

I have some records for a Thomas Stevens, Cockington Torquay, Devonshire, Stretcher Bearer 1902, Joined Natal Vol Ambulance Corps on 09 Dec 1899 . I been trying to find the Medal Roll for the National Union Fire Brigade medal but been unsuccessful thus far, might be worth researching roll for the St Johns medal as they keep great records, and thus might be able to link with the Union Fire Brigade medal for your wife’s great great grandfather. Just a thought. Hope this helps somewhat.
