My clients is the 4th direct descendent of Shuja Shah Durrani, who is the last ruler of Afghanistan and its extended borders. Then his extended cousins, Barakzai, took over and their last ruler was King Zahir Shah.

I am looking for these medal of honour which were issued by HM Shuja Shah Durrani (Shuja ul Mulk) in 1839,during his campaign to restore his rule in 1839. These were manufactured in British Calcutta until 1842. They were issued i three classes and were 8370 in number. The roll for medal of
honour doesn't exist, however there is a roll which records prize money awarded and these medals accompanied it too.
