History

This Order is previously known as the Mendi Decoration for Bravery (November 30, 2003) and renamed the Order of Mendi for Bravery (October 22, 2004).

It was conferred upon individuals in recognition of exceptional acts of gallantry in the face of danger.

This badge is awarded in conjunction with a Silver Miniature Medallion and a Silver Lapel Rosette.
