This privacy policy (the "Policy") applies to your access and use of the MedalBook website, content, products, and services (the "Services"), operated and owned by MedalBook Inc. (“MedalBook”). Please review this Policy carefully.

Any time you place an order, sign up for our blog, submit your contact information or introduce or post any text, image, video, audio, or any information, content or other materials through this website or any other MedalBook website including any of MedalBook’s social networking websites and web pages such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, or otherwise provide personal information to MedalBook (including in regular correspondence via mail or e-mail), may be collected, used and disclosed by MedalBook for various purposes as described herein.  As a result of these actions, you might supply us with personal information, such as your name, date of birth, e-mail, postal addresses, telephone number(s), product interest information, and in certain circumstances, your comments, suggestions, ideas, images, opinions and product interests. 

Additionally, when you browse our site we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.


We identify the purpose for which personal information will be used typically at or before the time the personal information is collected. Our use of personal information is limited to the purposes described in this Policy, the purposes set out in the terms and conditions of any product or service in connection with which personal information was collected, purposes required by law and uses consistent with any of those purposes. MedalBook collects, uses and shares personal information for the following purposes, which involve, among other things, the activities described for each:

Process your subscription and answer questions about the status of your subscription;

Maintain contact with you and provide you with ongoing personalized service and help us to better understand and respond to your needs and preferences; and

Develop, improve, market and provide our Services and manage our business.


We will not disclose your personal information to any non-affiliated third party without your prior consent, other than as provided below. MedalBook may use personal information without the individual’s consent under particular circumstances. These situations may include but are not limited to:

MedalBook is obliged by law to disclose personal information to adhere to the requirements of an investigation conducted by law enforcement officials;

An emergency exists that threatens an individuals’ life, health or personal security;

The personal information is already publicly available; and

Disclosure is required to investigate a breach of contract.

You have the choice simply not to submit any personal information to us, however this may limit our ability to serve you as it may prevent you from contributing and subscribing to this website. We will keep your personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or such longer period as may be required by applicable law. 


In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers. For example, MedalBook does not store credit card information but instead uses a third party provider to handle payment for subscriptions. 

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located. As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act. 

Once you leave MedalBook’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms and Conditions. When you click on links on MedalBook’s website, they may direct you away from our site. 

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. 


Cookies are small text files that are stored in a computer’s web browser memory. They help website providers with things like understanding how people use a website, remembering a User’s login details, and storing website preferences. Some cookies are essential to the operation of our website and Services. We use those cookies in a number of different ways, including but not limited to: authentication of user, site features and Services, improve advertising and fraud prevention/detection.
