The Troops Medal is awarded to recognize Brazilian Army Soldiers who have rendered outstanding services through dedication, professional and self sacrificing actions to the Brazilian Army Troop Body.

Individuals who have contributed to 15 years of service are eligible to receive the silver medal, whose ribbon consists of a clasp that contains two helmet shaped figures.
