Physical Description

The Star consists of a ball-tipped five-pointed star in gilt, with obverse centerpiece featuring a flying condor on a deep-blue enameled background.

History

The Star of Great Aeronautical Merit is awarded to Officers who have completed 40 years of distinguished services in the Chilean Air Force.
