History

The Discovery of America Centenary Medal (Medalla por el Centenario del Descubrimiento de América) was established by the government of Argentina in commemoration of the fourth centenary of the America's discover in 1492.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that can be translated to “United Societies 12 October, 1892 Moron” and a reverse inscription that can be translated to “Souvenir of the 4o Centenary of the Discovery of America.”
