History

The Honor to National Guard Medal (Medalla de Honor a la Guardia Nacional) was authorized by the government of Argentina, in recognition of the members of the National Guard who suppressed a few civil uprising in the 1890 decade.

It is not clear if the composition denotes the rank of the recipient.

The Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Republic of Argentina, Honor to the National Guard, 9th July of 1816 1895."
