History

The Ringuelet Medal (Medalla por Rinquelet) was authorized by the government of Argentina in recognition of those who suppressed a rebellion, led by the Unión Cívica (Civic Union,) at the Province of Santa Fe in 1893.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "General Campos to Brave Men in Ringuelet," and a reverse inscription that can be translated to “Souvenir of August 8, 1893.”
