The Yellow Fever Medal (Medalla Servidores de la Fiebre Amarilla) was instituted by the government of Argentina in recognition of those who assisted at the yellow fever epidemic in Argentina in 1871.
The Medal features an obverse inscription that can be translated to "Municipality of the Buenos Aires City," and a reverse inscription that can be translated to “To the Servers of the Humanity.”
