    The Order of Merit of the Investigative Police (Orden al Mérito de la Policía de Investigaciones) was instituted on September 2, 1969, to reward members of the Peruvian Investigative Police for outstanding merit to the institution.

    The Order's grades were Grand Cross, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer, and Knight.
