History

The Order of Venezuelan Heroes (Orden de las Heroínas Venezolanas) was established in Venezuela on March 7, 2007 to reward Venezuelan women in recognition of extraordinary service in the promotion and defense of human rights, contribution to social justice, merits in the social or community, and services contributing to the progress of humanity.

It was instituted with a unique class. It is not clear the current status of this Order.
