The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Long Service and Good Conduct Decoration is conferred to members of the Defence Force who have rendered a minimum of eighteen years of irreproachable service.

The obverse of the medal depicts the Coat of Arms of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, inscribed with “LONG SERVICE AND GOOD CONDUCT” and “RBDF”. The name, rank, and initials of the recipient are engraved on the medal. Two clasps adorn the ribbon, one inscribed with “THE BAHAMAS”, and one bearing the name of the campaign. Additional clasps will be awarded to recipients on completion of twenty-five years of service, and thirty years respectively.
