History

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force Overseas Campaign Decoration is awarded to members of the Force who have served for a period of thirty days or more in a campaign outside of the Bahamas’ Commonwealth. Instruction, training, and exercises abroad do not warrant presentation of the Decoration.

The obverse features the inscription “ROYAL BAHAMAS DEFENCE FORCE” and “OVERSEAS CAMPAIGN”. The name, rank, and initials of the recipient are engraved on the medal. The reverse features “FOR OVERSEAS CAMPAIGN RBDF” and the country’s name where the campaign was conducted. The black and gold ribbon is adorned with two clasps, inscribed with “THE BAHAMAS”, and the name of the campaign, respectively.
