History

The Royal Bahamas Police Meritorious Service Medal is awarded to members who have distinguished themselves through devotion to service, and repeated good merit and conduct.

The obverse features the Coat of Arms of The Bahamas, while the reverse is inscribed with "FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE ROYAL BAHAMAS POLICE FORCE". The name and rank of the recipient is inscribed on the rim. A clasp is presented for any additional meritorious service.
