History

This medal was issued during the Kuomintang Era (1928-1949). It was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of exceptional performance or for outstanding technical skill.

The II Class, I Grade Medal was awarded with a ribbon with a central white stripe boarded by red and blue, and edged by wide white stripes.

The reverse features Chinese characters.
