History

Known in Malay as the "Darjah Yang Mulia Pangkuan Negara." This order is presented for meritorious service to the country.

The insignia of the order consists of a collar, two stars and three types of badges. The motto of the order is "Di-peliharakan Allah" meaning "Under God's Protection."

The Companion is limited to seven hundred persons. It is awarded to both men and women, with the women's ribbon being tied in a bow. The badge for men is worn around the neck, and the badge for women is worn on the chest.

The Companion Badge is smaller than that of the Commander. It is composed of silver gilt and white enamel. It is an 11 point star with small crescents and stars between the rays. The central medallion is white enamel with an embossed crown and crescent and the motto of the order in arabic.
