History

This medal is also known as "Pingat Pekerti Yang Terpileh." It is awarded to individuals who have performed an act or serious of acts gallantry in the State of Selangor.

It is a round silver medal with the same design as the Conspicuous Gallantry Medal, however there is a laurel wreath around the design of the obverse. The ribbon is three equal stripes of red, yell and red.
