History

This order, also called "Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Selangor Yang Amat Mulia" was instituted on June 6, 1961. It is similar to the Family Order, but has a wider distribution for services in the State.

The Breast Star is composed of Silver and is a five pointed star with fluted rays, with a superimposed five pointed star comprised of silver gilt with ballpoints. Each gilt arm bears partial red enamel. The centre medallion contains the Royal Cypher on a field of yellow enamel.
