History

This medal is also known as Pingat Jasa Kebaktian. It is a reward for meritorious service.

It is composed of Bronze, and presents the same obverse design as the distinguished conduct medal and conspicuous gallantry medal - the bust of the Sultan surrounded by the Jawi inscription "SULTAN ISMAIL NASIRUDDIN SHAH NEGERI TRENGGANU DARULIMAN AL-ISLAMIAH AL-MALAYUWIAH." The reverse has the name of the medal "JASA KEBAKTIAN" on the reverse in Malay. The ribbon is black with three narrow white stripes.
