The medal is also known as Prashamsaneyaa Patta.

Conferred upon commissioned and non-commissioned officers of the Nepalese Armed Forces in recognition of gallantry during conflict.

The obverse features an inscription in Nepalese and a Royal Headdress. The reverse features an inscription in Nepalese and is dated "2020" (V.S. 2020 = A.D. 1988).
