Physical Description

A silvered five-pointed star, the obverse bears a central red enamel medallion with a raised five-pointed star in the center, encompassed by the inscription HUAN CHUONG / CHIEN CONG, the reverse is plain, on a pentagonal red ribbon with green stripes.

History

This Order is conferred upon military units and military personnel in recognition of extraordinary achievement in combat and war service.

The I Class Star features 3 stars on the ribbon.
The II Class Star features 2 stars on the ribbon.
The III Class Star features 1 star on the ribbon.

The Order was revised in 2003 and again in 2006.

It has been noted that there are variations in early designs and present day designs from 2003 onward, however there is limited information regarding this matter.
