History

This Order was conferred upon troops and military personnel of the People's Army of Vietnam in recognition of contributions to victory by any means necessary.

Notably, this Order was awarded to troops for service in the Spring 1975 General Offensive, and to Colonel General Tran Van Tra who commanded the National Liberation Front Forces against the United States in Saigon.

The obverse inscription translates to "Resolved to Win".
