It is uncertain whether the Naval Shooting Medal is currently awarded.The reverse inscriptions are unknown, and more research is necessary to translate the obverse inscriptions. History

The Naval Shooting Medal was instituted by Presidential Decree in 1925. It was awarded during the annual exercises held at the School of Naval Artillery and was accompanied by a financial prize.

The Medal has two versions. The first was instituted in 1925 and has a star on the obverse. The second version was instituted after the restoration of the Monarchy in 1935 and has a crown on the obverse as well as a different inscription.
