History
The honorary title of Meritorious to Justice of the Polish People's Republic was established by the Council of State in 1979. It was permanently discontinued in 1992 following the collapse of the communist regime.
It was conferred upon Polish judges, magistrates, and lawyers for long and meritorious service. Recipients were entitled to a monetary award in the form of a pension increase.
The Badge features an obverse inscription that translates to "Meritorious to Justice."
