History
The Decoration of Honour for the Protection of Children's Rights was established by the Republic of Poland in 2013 and is administered by the Ombudsman of Children. It is awarded to Polish citizens and organisations, as well as foreigners and foreign organisations, in recognition of meritorious service to the protection of children's rights.
The Silver Medal features initials on the obverse that stand for "Rzeczpospolita Polska" (Republic of Poland) with an additional inscription that translates to "Children's Ombudsman."
