The Honour Decoration for Civil Servants of Rank Equal to Non-Commissioned Officer is awarded to Romanian civil servants of “special status,” in recognition of long and meritorious service. These civil servants include those with professional degrees, or those in positions and whose rank is equivalent to Non-Commissioned Officer.
The II Class Medal is awarded in recognition of 20 years of service in the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Justice, state communications, or national security.
The II Class Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to “In Service of the Country.”
