History

The Title of the Hero of the New Agrarian Revolution was established in 1986. It was conferred upon agricultural companies and cooperatives, economic associations, research and production units, as well as individuals who contributed to modern and productive agriculture including activists, agriculture personnel, and leaders of agricultural units, but it was permanently suppressed after the fall of the Socialist Republic in 1989.

There are two known versions of the Gold Badge that differ in composition.
