    The Chagas De Lamego Medal was established in Portugal in 1825. It was founded to recognize soldiers and civilians who participated in the Chagas De Lamego campaign against the recently established constitutional regime and in favor of the absolutist regime of João VI.

    The Medal was awarded with an unique grade, Gold Medal.
