Physical Description
A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the bust of Alfonso XIII in military uniform, with a sprig of oak on one side and a pattern of alternating stars and fleur de lis on the other side, with the inscription ESPANA Y AFRICA on the bottom, the reverse bears the image of a woman sitting with an outstretched arm, with the coat of arms of Spain and a crown, with a horizontally elongated suspension, on a red and yellow striped ribbon.
