Physical Description

A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the image of a soldier with a helmet, with a sprig of laurel and a border inscribed with SANS PEUR SANS PITIE, the reverse bears a diamond shape with vertical stripes with laurel and oak leaves, encompassed by a border inscribed with CATALUNYA ALS VOLUNTARIS CATALANS 1914-1918, with a loop for suspension, on a red and yellow striped ribbon.
