Physical Description

An ovular medal constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse bears the image of Saint Barbara encompassed by the inscription STA BARBARA DE LOS ARTILLEROS, the reverse bears the image of two crossed cannons, with a wreath above and a shell below, with the inscription 1893 AVE MARIA MADRID, with loop for suspension, on a red ribbon.
