Jaime de Borbón y de Borbón-Parma, known as Duke of Madrid and as Jacques de Bourbon, Duke of Anjou in France was the Carlist successor to the throne in Spain. On July 18, 1909 Jaime succeeded his father as the Carlist claimant to the throne of Spain and the Legitimist claimant to the throne of France. For a period during the First World War, Jaime III lived under house arrest in Schloss Frohsdorf in Austria.
