Physical Description

A circular medal constructed of silver, the obverse bears the image of a soldier sprawled out on the ground with a rifle in hand, to the left is the image of a cross with the inscription ANTE DIOS NUNCA SERAS HEROE ANONIMO beside it, the reverse is plain and bears the inscription DIOS PATRIA REY with a laurel wreath.

History

The Carlist Medal for Anonymous Heroes was minted during the Spanish Civil War in honor of the anonymous heroic deeds carried out by members of the Requeté.
