Physical Description

A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears two portraits encompassed by the inscription POR DIOS LA PATRIA Y EL REY 1936-1939, the reverse bears a crowned Carlist symbol with an open ended wreath below, encompassed by the inscription A LA LEALTAD DE LOS REQUETES EN LA CRUZADA, on a white ribbon with the Carlist symbol.

History

The medal was conferred upon those that had participated in the war. Or in the case of death, upon their widows and orphans.

The medal was instituted by a petition of the Brotherhood of formed Combatants of the Third Requetés.
