History

The Carlos IV Faithful Merit Medal was authorized by King Charles IV in 1806.

This Medal was struck at Latin America mints such as, Potosí and Mexico City Mints.

This Medal is known as well as "To Merit and Loyalty Medal."

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Charles IV King of Spain and Indias," and a reverse inscription that translates to "To Merit and Loyalty."
