The Star of Fidelity was authorized in Spain by King Ferdinand VII on December 14, 1823. It was conferred upon all those people who fought against the Constitutional Government between 1820 and 1823 within Spain.

It is not clear if the Star was awarded by ranks.

The Star features an obverse inscription that translates to "The King to the Fidelity."
