History


Established by King Gustaf V, in commemoration of his 70th birthday, this Medal was conferred upon members of the Royal Family, Royal Household, and those who had been in the service of the Royal Household, or employed at the Royal Palaces, as well as those who had rendered service for the National Subscription Committee.

According to official documents, a total of 916 medals were awarded.
