History

This medal is awarded to members of the 4th division who fought during the Continuation War.

The Finnish name of the cross is "4. Divisioona muistoristit".

The Cross has an eyelet for ribbon suspension. In the centre on the obverse is the insignia of the 4th Division. The reverse inscribed "4D" centrally. Left of it is "1941" dated and on the right "1944".

The ribbon may be decorated with clasps reading, "AUNUKSEN KANNAS", "KARJALAN KANNAS", "MASSELÄN KANNAS".
