History

The Commemorative Cross for the Coastal Artillery was awarded to those who served with the Coastal Artillery during the Continuation War against invading Soviet forces.

The Finnish name of the cross is "Rannikkojoukkojen muistoristi".

The face of the blackened oxidised bronze Greek cross with loop for ribbon suspension shows zig-zag lines representative of the coast and imposed crossed bronze cannons.

The reverse dated "1941-1944".
