History

This cross is awarded to personnel of the 15th Division or the 19th Brigade for their participation in the Eastern Isthmus campaign.

The Finnish name of the cross is "Itä-Kannaksen muistoristit".
The award is sometimes known as the "15th Division and 19th Brigade Cross" (in Finnish "15. Divisioonan & 19. Prikaatin risti").

The Eastern Isthmus Campaign Cross has on the obverse a silver cross gammée imposed bearing an upright sword, to which is attached the ring for ribbon suspension. The reverse has the inscription "ITÄ KANNAS 1941-44".
