History

This cross was awarded to personnel of the 4th Army Corps for participation at the Karelian Isthmus campaign during the continuation war.

The Finnish name of the cross is "Kannas muistoristit".

The cross has an eyelet for ribbon suspension.
The obverse is blackened with the silvered arms of Karelia centrally. On is a gauntleted arm holding a sword and a mailed arm holding a scimitar. The arms of the cross have silvered inward-pointing castellated finials.
