History

The circular silvered medal has a loop for ribbon suspension. The obverse shows a representation of the Cross of Merit of the Reserve Non-Commissioned Officers Association. It is circumscribed by "ANSIOISTA VAPAAEHTOISESSA MAANPUOLUSTUSTYÖSSÄ", Finnish for "Gratitude for Voluntary National Defence Work". The reverse is plain gilt.

The Medal is awarded in three grades for meritorious work in support of the Association.
