History

The Medal of Honour for Public Education in Indochina was awarded by the Governor-General of Indochina to native school teachers. However, it is uncertain what the requirements were for each grade.

It is uncertain when the Medal ceased to be awarded.

The obverse inscription translates to “French Republic,” and the reverse inscription translates to “Public Education, Indochina.”
