History

The Battle for Paris Victory Medal was established by King Friedrich I alongside the Le Fère-Champenoise Victory Medal. It was founded as a commemorative medal for the Battle of Paris, which was fought between the French and a coalition force from the Austrian Empire, the Kingdom of Württemberg, the Kingdom of Prussia, and the Russian Empire.

The Gold Medal was conferred upon officers who assisted with combat operations.

There are examples that were struck in 18 kt gold, as well as versions that were produced in gilded copper.

The medal is very rare.
