History
Cuff titles were similar to armbands, except often stating a more specific and specialised purpose of the wearer. They were significantly smaller than armbands, didn’t necessarily go all the way around the arm, and were worn on the lower part of the left sleeve.
Staff members of the Reichsjugendführung (RJF, National Youth Leadership) wore a black cuff title with the word “Hitlerjugend” in white Sütterlin script, with a white top and bottom stripe.
Two other cuff titles feature the word “Hitlerjugend”. However, they were not worn by Hitler Youth members. The units that wore them were the 12th SS Panzer Division “Hitlerjugend” and the 1st Sturmbootflottille (Assault Craft Flotilla) “Hitlerjugend” of the Kriegsmarine.
