History

This Medal was awarded to Hungarian citizens who donated blood to the Hungarian Red Cross.

The Medal may also be known as the Excellent Blood Donner Medal (Kivalo Verado).

The Gold Medal (for 50 donations) is identical to the Gold Medal (for 20 donations), except it features a yellow ribbon instead of a blue ribbon.
