The Service Cross for Customs Agents was established by Grand Duke Jean by Grand Ducal Decree on March 25, 1967. It is awarded to Officers and agents in the Luxembourgian Customs and Excise Agency for long and meritorious service.

All decorations must be returned upon promotion to a higher grade.
