The Loyal Service Medal for Constables was established by Royal Decree in 1909 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Constable Corps. It was awarded in recognition of 25 years of faithful service.

The Silver Medal features obverse and reverse inscriptions that translate to "For Loyal Service."
